American Sable Rabbit Breed History and Facts
The American Sable is known for its docile temperament. Even though this is a larger breed, the Sable makes an amazing pet and is quite easy to handle. Once bred for its fur and meat, the American Sable has made a tremendous comeback over the last 30 years. Due to determined breeders who refused to let this breed die out, future generations can still appreciate the American Sable not only in the show ring but as a loving companion.
