Finding a group, business or organization that will spay or neuter your animal for free is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Your options may only consist of acquiring a pet that has already been spayed or neutered or find low-cost services. But when adopting a pet from a shelter that has already been spayed or neutered, there are still the adoption fees so the service isn't actually free. This isn't to say that there are not free services available but it will take some searching and time to find these services in your area. Many of the free programs are only offered to low-income families or just to those who own cats.
