Most horses will not graze on bitter toxic plants when their grazing field has other tastier foliage to offer and because of their size, a horse would need to consume a high quantity of some toxic plants and weeds to show major ill effects on their health. There are some toxic plants that should be removed from areas that a horse has access to as these plants can lead to major illnesses and even death.
